And our storage building project is finally Gettin Dun!
Superior MSC brought in the prefabricated components on Monday morning and made a huge amount of progress, working til dusk. They completed the building at 1 pm on Tuesday afternoon, so it only took them a day and a half - WOW!.
Now that the rough-in building inspection has been approved by the city, our electrical contractor started work on Monday morning (including the receptacles, switches, etc.). This work was inspected and approved on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday morning, Phil and Pat Rocco assisted with the installation of protective ODX panels on the inner walls of the building (photo's below). Our Electrician will be back on Tuesday morning to complete their work and the building inspector and Deputy Fire Marshall are scheduled to inspect on Tuesday afternoon. At that point, we should receive our Certificate of Occupancy and start loading the facility with furniture pickups for our upcoming sale.
To protect the corner of the building and the ramp, we installed several bollards over the weekend. We have also engaged a contractor to restore the width of our driveway adjacent to the new building to 17 feet. Hopefully, this will be completed within the next week or so.
After this work is completed, we will clear and groom the surrounding property a bit to make it look perty!!
Lots of pictures below that document our little project!!
