Father Kenneth I. Parker 4th Degree Assembly 1820
Father Kenneth I. Parker Assembly 1820 Knights of Columbus represents the Patriotic Degree of the Knights of Columbus. In addition to the virtues of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity that are the focus of the First, Second, and Third Degrees of the Council, the Fourth Degree was founded on the principle of patriotism – love for and devotion to one’s country. The members of the assembly have chosen to embrace the order’s fourth principle of patriotism, the men who lead the efforts to reach out to veterans and active military and to embody the fact that one can be a faithful Catholic and a faithful citizen. Here in New Bern, the Assembly works in concert with Council 3303 supporting over 35 local and national charities.
